Bags by Luii

Is your life dull? Does your wardrobe need a hint of sass and spice? Do I sound like an infomercial? If you said yes to previous of the questions, then head on over to Luii, the home of super fashionable handbags. Each handbag is handmade by the owner and designer Janice Chan (get it, HANDbag, HANDmade...hurrr, I'm a dork).

I love the Lydia Clutch (first image above), it's so sweet! The fabric combinations just make me drool. But I don't need anymore handbags (at least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself), so I'm passing on this awesomeness for someone else to enjoy. And you better enjoy it!

Please note that the Luii shop will be closed from now until early February due to moving. So I guess this means you'll have to wait until you get feed your handbag fix.

Stationery, Toys, and More by So Softies

If you're looking for cute in all shapes and sizes, So Softies is the place to be. She carries a variety of neat items to satisfy any occasion; shirts, stationery, amigurumi dolls, and more.

My favorites are the paper goods. I'm a paper junkie, I love journals, notecards, memo pads, etc! And I hoard them away because I never seem to have the courage to use them up. So Softies really doesn't make the situation any better. Her cards and memo pads are to die for. I'm in love with the mushroom card (top picture, top right). Mushrooms are the new black. She used to have an awesome mushroom journal, which I'm not sure if they're still in production, but it was sweet!

If you're like me, you'll be blown away by the awesomeness that is So Softies*.

Genius!

cash advance

Apparently this blog is perfect for people who read at the genius level. Hmmm. I wonder how they calculated that. On the bright side, if you're here reading this, you're a genius!

How did your blog do?

Thrift Store Score!

Today my friend took me to her favorite thrift store, Et Cetera, here in college town and I scored a sweet leopard print purse for $0.50! I've been looking for a nice leopard print bag forever, but I never really found one that I liked...until now. Inside it has a large compartment separated into two by a zippered compartment. On the outside it has an organizer for IDs, credit cards, check book, money, etc, as well as a cellphone holder. It's awesome!

We're probably going to go back this weekend and see if they have new stuff.

Sorry about the bad pictures, my camera phone sucks.

Cards by Tracy Chong

Remember the bliss that came with opening up a book and POP, out comes a pop-up picture? Yeah, I know you do...don't lie. Pop up books are awesome! And now you can share the glee when you send them a pop-up card by Tracy Chong!

She creates a variety of intricately cut cards to fit all occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, thank yous and random messages. You can choose from animals, anatomically correct hearts, windows, and many more.

I'm amazed at the amount of detail these cards have! I love the heart one, I think I might give it to my valentine (if I can get one by then). Yeah.

The only pop-up thing I could ever make was a box. Lame, yes. I'm jealous of her talent. But jealous in a good way (is that possible?).

Pop up cards rule!

Jewelry by Beautiful Jewels

The name pretty much sums it up. Created with Swarovski crystals, each piece shines with the brilliance that can only come from handcrafted jewelry.

If you knew me, you would know that I love things that shine and shimmer (in moderation). And these pieces only encourage my obsession. It's times like these that make me wish I had pierce ears. But, alas, I don't have pierced ears (and I don't plan on getting them anytime soon). I hope that those of you who can wear earrings (and other jewelry too!) will take the time to visit Beautiful Jewels. They have beautiful crystal earrings in stunning colors and shapes, gorgeous bracelets, and multi-functional crystal pendants (you can attach the pendant to keychains, phones, bracelets, etc).

In addition to their current range of available pieces, custom orders are also welcomed so that you can have the jewelry of your dreams.

Jewelry by Brooke Marton

Take a little bit of modern flare, add a dash of vintage charm, and together they will form the Jewelry that is Brooke Marton. Head to her shop and you'll be amazed at her gorgeous jewelry, colorful earrings, elegant necklaces, and charming bracelets.

I absolutely love her color choices, the pieces are vibrant, eye-catching, and oh-so beautiful. One of my favorite pieces is her Lifesaver Bracelet (last picture above). They really do look like the candy. The green one in the back looks delicious. Okay, I'm weird...I know.

Every purchase comes packaged in a gift box. If you buy multiple pieces, they will all be packaged in the same gift box unless you request otherwise (in the message to seller box at checkout).

Although her jewelry looks good enough to eat, I highly recommend that you don't. Who knows what it could do to your digestive system.
